Goheung County is launching two major energy projects to create a carbon-neutral agricultural hub. The initiative includes a 20.2 billion won platform for direct current (DC) energy integration to reduce power loss from solar and storage systems, and a 23.7 billion won project focusing on AI-driven solar technology. These projects aim to cut smart farm energy consumption by up to 50% using transparent solar modules and thermal energy conversion. The goal is to establish a scalable 'K-Smart Farm' model for export to the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
