South Korean agencies KOTEC and KOSME recently hosted a joint investor relations event to connect carbon-reduction technology startups with venture capital. The initiative aims to accelerate the country's progress toward national greenhouse gas reduction targets by improving access to capital for green tech firms. Nine companies specializing in carbon-reduction technologies presented their business models to domestic investors. The event focused on utilizing green transition guarantees and taxonomy evaluations to make these startups more attractive to private funding sources.
