South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has approved 12 regulatory sandbox projects to accelerate green technology. Key initiatives include the first demonstration of underground hydrogen charging stations in urban areas and a new approach to offshore methanol production. To lower costs, the government is allowing a single vessel to alternately transport liquefied carbon dioxide and methanol. This removes the previous requirement for separate ships and frequent cargo change notifications, streamlining the logistics of low-carbon fuel transport.
