Each monthly session averages 73 fixes, keeping usable goods out of the waste stream and reducing demand for new manufacturing. The project relies on about 25 volunteers per event and is open to new helpers with no experience required. The next repair cafe is scheduled for June 27 at St Andrew's Church Hall. Alongside repairs, visitors can donate tools to the Tools for Africa collection and purchase household refills from Miniml. The model shows how community-level repair programs can produce measurable carbon savings while building local skills.
