Singapore has committed $19.2 million to the Global Green Growth Institute's Carbon Transaction Facility. This funding aims to accelerate the development of international carbon markets under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement by reducing transaction costs and improving institutional capacity in host countries. The investment is split between a readiness facility to help partner countries build technical capabilities and a dedicated facility to finance carbon credit projects that align with Singapore's climate targets.
