Singapore's National Environment Agency has selected a joint venture of AECOM, Binnies, and Ramboll to provide consultancy services for Phase 2 of the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF). The project is part of the Tuas Nexus site, which integrates water reclamation and solid waste treatment to maximize resource recovery. Phase 2 is designed to process 2,900 tons of waste per day, converting it into energy. The development team is also exploring the integration of carbon capture technology to further reduce the facility's environmental footprint and support Singapore's long-term sustainability goals.
