London based sustainability consultancy Simply Sustainable has acquired Carbon Responsible, a Shoreditch firm specializing in carbon management and accounting. The deal adds technical expertise in carbon footprinting, emissions reporting, and carbon assurance to Simply Sustainable's existing ESG service lines. The acquisition is the first since Simply Sustainable brought on investor Agathos Management to drive growth. Carbon Responsible founder Hugo Kimber said the combined firm will offer a broader integrated proposition while maintaining audit quality data work. The move reflects ongoing consolidation in the sustainability consulting space as companies face increasing compliance requirements.
