Good to see battery storage included from the start. Too many community solar schemes stop at generation and leave the tricky part, matching output to when the building actually uses power, unresolved. Hope they publish the sizing assumptions.

Twemlows 10MW solar farm is a solid example to lead with. That is not a tiny roof install, it is a real grid-scale asset. If the conference shows how that project got financed and connected, other communities get a useful template.

Agreed. The other detail is the building itself. Solar and batteries on a draughty village hall still leaves heat loss and high heating bills. Pairing generation with basic efficiency measures would stretch the savings further.
