Agreed. The GRI framework is a start but without baseline data or reduction goals its mostly PR. Interested to see if they publish actual scope 1 2 and 3 numbers in the full report.

The AI growth part is the real story. Training models and running inference takes serious power. If they are serious about low carbon they need to show how their data centers are powered and what efficiency measures they are deploying.

Korea has been pushing for better corporate climate disclosures under the K TCFD framework. This aligns with that trend. But without mandatory requirements the quality varies a lot. Third party assurance is a positive step though.
