Seqana Raises 3.2 Million Euros for Soil Carbon MRV Platform
thesaasnews.comBerlin based Seqana has raised 3.2 million euros in a mix of venture capital and debt to expand its software driven soil health monitoring platform. The company uses satellite imagery and machine learning to help agrifood companies measure soil carbon and track regenerative agriculture progress. Lead investor Pymwymic was joined by HTGF and Counteract, plus a startup loan from Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank. Seqana plans to use the funds to accelerate development of its digital MRV tooling and extend measurement to additional soil health indicators and carbon pools. Founded in 2020, the company's approach combines proprietary ML models with ground truth data to provide scalable quantification for carbon programs. This round signals continued investor interest in soil carbon measurement as a key piece of agricultural climate finance.
