The jump in the 2034 target by 11.5% is a bold move. I wonder if this is based on actual scalable tech or just a reaction to hitting the early goals easily. The reporting on tCO2eq needs to be transparent to see if these are real cuts or just accounting shifts.
Expanding the shuttle fleet is fine, but the real question is where the charging power comes from. If the local grid is still coal heavy, the net benefit is lower. Did they upgrade the local distribution for these new electric buses?
Food waste reducers and gardens are nice for visibility, but they are small wins. I want to see the data on building efficiency. That is where the bulk of urban emissions live. No mention of heat pumps or envelope retrofits here.
