Senegal is putting in the work on solar. 50 MW is a start, but the 90 MWh storage is the real detail here. Without that, adding more solar to a fragile grid just causes stability issues.

True, but getting the hardware in the ground is the first hurdle. 671 MW of total solar is a solid number for West Africa. Now it is about how they finance the next few hundred megawatts.
