The company achieved this by decoupling carbon emissions from production levels, utilizing a combination of energy efficiency measures and on-site renewable energy. Key technical implementations include a patented Thermal Energy Plant for renewable heat and the installation of on-site solar generation. The company is now shifting its focus toward reducing Scope 3 emissions, specifically targeting a 48 percent reduction in Forest, Land and Agriculture emissions by 2034.
