Schneider Electric and Greenly Expand SME Decarbonization Program with Carbon Accounting and Advisory Services
renewableenergymagazine.comSchneider Electric is expanding its Decarbonization Champion Program with carbon accounting platform Greenly. The program targets small and medium-sized enterprises across the electrical value chain, giving them tools to measure Scope 1 and 2 emissions, access to SE Advisory Services, and training through Schneider's Sustainability and Energy Tech School. Schneider puts the annual value at more than $34,000 per channel partner. Pilot results from the Pacific region show real operational savings. One contractor found over $28,500 in annual savings opportunities, and a Queensland manufacturer identified more than $178,000 in potential savings from air system efficiency, load shifting, and equipment optimization. The program is now rolling out globally through Schneider's partner ecosystem. The expansion comes as EU CSRD and Australia's CRFD push larger companies to demand emissions data from suppliers. For SMEs in panel building, contracting, and system integration, the program tries to close the gap between regulatory pressure and the resources needed to act.
