Pharmaceutical company Sandoz has announced new interim climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030 and 63% by 2035, based on 2024 levels. To reach these goals, Sandoz is implementing a sustainability blueprint that focuses on energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and decarbonizing logistics. The company also requires 79% of its key suppliers to set their own science-based targets by 2030 to address upstream emissions.
