Samsung Electronics is expanding its presence in the European low carbon housing market by providing AI enabled heat pump systems for a massive residential development in Poland. The project, led by energy provider Ekopark, covers 2.5 million square meters and includes approximately 370 buildings across four different cities. The deployment utilizes DVM S2 outdoor units and SmartThings Pro management software to optimize energy use and monitor performance across dispersed locations. This shift toward electrified heating helps reduce reliance on fossil fuel boilers and aligns with tightening European emissions targets.
