Sagepoint Logistics, based in Carmel, Indiana, has expanded its fleet with 60 new heavy-duty trucks powered by renewable natural gas (RNG). The vehicles use Cummins X15N engines and bring Sagepoint's total RNG fleet to 120 trucks. The company says the move responds to growing shipper demand for transportation that cuts carbon emissions without sacrificing cost predictability or reliability. Sagepoint's model integrates its energy and logistics operations. The trucks are fueled by RNG from Sagepoint Energy's own production facilities, reducing exposure to diesel price swings and helping shippers lower Scope 3 emissions. With this expansion, Sagepoint positions itself as a leading RNG-powered dedicated carrier in the Midwest and plans to grow further.
