RUSAL is pushing for the adoption of low-carbon and recycled aluminum in Azerbaijan's construction industry to lower the carbon footprint of urban infrastructure. The company highlights its ALLOW aluminum, which maintains a CO2 footprint below 4t CO2 per tonne of material, largely due to the use of hydropower in production. By integrating these materials, the initiative aims to reduce lifecycle costs and improve building efficiency. The strategy also focuses on the infinite recyclability of aluminum to support long term decarbonization targets in the building sector.
