4 MWp on a rooftop is a decent footprint. I wonder what the actual utilization rate is given the local grid stability in that part of Andhra Pradesh. Did they include any onsite storage to handle peak loads, or is this purely for daytime offset?
The OPEX model is the only way some of these older industrial sites move. If they have to put the capex on their own balance sheet, the project usually dies in a meeting. The real question is who handles the roof maintenance over the next 20 years.
