Rite Foods Limited, a Nigerian beverage manufacturer, reported a 5% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in 2025 as part of its sustainability push. The company also cut carbon intensity by 23% per liter of beverage produced and aims for net zero emissions by 2060. Other gains include a 15% drop in water use and a 27% reduction in solid waste generation. The firm spent N581.92 million on community programs, a 50% increase from the prior year, and recovered over 800 tonnes of plastic waste through recycling partnerships. Energy efficiency improved, with consumption falling to 0.41 megajoules per liter. The report highlights concrete operational changes rather than vague pledges, making it a useful case study for corporate decarbonization in emerging markets.
