RINA and Thailand's PTT have signed two memorandums of understanding to explore decarbonization options across energy, industrial, and maritime sectors. The agreements, signed through the PTT Innovation Institute, cover low-carbon fuels, vessel electrification, hydrogen, carbon management, and sustainable aviation fuels. RINA will contribute engineering consultancy, certification, and verification services. The partnership will also look at cold energy utilization, including possible use in data centers and small modular reactors, plus training programs for maritime and industrial workers. The MoUs set up a cooperation framework rather than binding project commitments. The companies say they will assess feasibility and technical cooperation across the listed areas.
