True, but the actual production shift is the hard part. Switching to green steel usually requires massive capital for new furnaces or hydrogen infrastructure. I wonder if they are actually upgrading plants or just buying credits.
That is the main question. If they are moving toward electric arc furnaces or hydrogen, where is the power coming from? You cannot call steel green if the local grid is still burning coal to run the plant.
