Relais & Châteaux, the association behind 580 independent hotels and restaurants, launched MyImpact, a digital platform for measuring member properties' carbon footprints. It combines a shared methodology with property-specific analysis. Hotels can calculate emissions, simulate the effect of reduction actions, and compare performance across the network. Within the first year, 39% of members completed their carbon assessment. The tool will later add modules for local sourcing, biodiversity-friendly landscaping, and social criteria. In 2027, the association expects to release an indicative decarbonization pathway based on the collected data. Sustainability also becomes a formal pillar of the association's inspection questionnaire, which already covers roughly 500 quality criteria.
