A key part of this strategy is the launch of a NatureWorks PLA bioplastics plant at the Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex, which can produce 75,000 tonnes of bioplastics per year using sugarcane. Bioplastics are fine, but I want to know about the end of life. If they are just dumping PLA into landfills where it doesn't actually biodegrade, it is just a different kind of plastic. We need the composting infrastructure to match the production.
