Prithu Raises Rs 10 Crore to Scale Agricultural Carbon Removal in India

The company focuses on converting regenerative agriculture, biochar, and agroforestry into verifiable carbon credits to help small landholder farmers access global voluntary carbon markets. Prithu aims to sequester 20 million tonnes of CO2e by 2030. The new capital will be used to expand farmer networks, improve blockchain-based monitoring and verification systems, and secure long-term offtake agreements for their carbon credits.
