Gurugram-based startup Prithu has secured Rs 10 crore in funding led by Transition VC. The company focuses on high-integrity carbon removal by implementing regenerative agriculture practices and onboarding smallholder farmers to restore soil carbon. Prithu plans to use the capital to expand its digital monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) infrastructure using blockchain. The startup aims to cover 5 lakh hectares of land over the next two years and target 20 million tonnes of CO2 capture by 2030.
