India-based climate tech company Prithu has secured $1.1 million in funding to expand its carbon removal platform. The company focuses on regenerative agriculture, using soil organic carbon enhancement and biochar to generate high-integrity carbon credits for smallholder farmers. Prithu utilizes a digital monitoring, reporting, and verification system that combines satellite data with ground sampling to meet international standards. The startup aims to scale its operations to 500,000 hectares over the next two years to serve global industrial buyers.
