PowerHouse Energy has received a national award for its Distributed Modular Generation system. This technology converts non-recyclable plastics and hard-to-abate waste into syngas and high-purity hydrogen, providing a low-carbon alternative to landfill and incineration. The company has deployed a small scale testing plant in South Wales and is developing larger 40 tonne per day systems in Northern Ireland and Western Australia. The goal is to provide distributed energy and waste solutions that remain commercially viable without relying on public subsidies.
