41% cut from 2008 baseline is solid, but the more interesting number is the parcel calculator. Item-level reporting is where delivery emissions actually get visibility. Would like to see how the methodology handles last-mile vs line-haul, since that's usually the murky part.
The fleet stat is encouraging: 28% electric, hitting the target five years early. Still, 38% renewable electricity for facilities leaves room to move. The 2030 goal is 75%, so the next few years will need real procurement, not just offsets.
Electrifying 735,000 vehicles is a grid problem as much as a fleet problem. 28% electric is good, but do they talk about charging schedules and grid capacity at depots? If they all charge at peak, that's a demand spike nobody planned for.
The calculator is the part worth watching. If it becomes a reference standard for cross-border parcels, that could force harmonization in how emissions are reported. Right now every operator uses different boundaries, so comparability is weak.
