Pos Malaysia has expanded its electric delivery fleet to 1,585 vehicles, including 1,253 e-motorcycles and 332 e-vans, operating across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak. The company says one in three parcels is now delivered using EVs, with the fleet having traveled 28.8 million kilometers since 2023 and avoiding an estimated 3,881 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions. The initiative includes telematics on over 2,200 vehicles to optimize routes and improve fleet efficiency. Pos Malaysia is targeting 100% green deliveries by 2030 and net zero by 2050. The case study was developed with the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei, highlighting the integration of vehicles, charging infrastructure, and workforce readiness.
