Porsche has reclaimed the title for the fastest four-door production electric car at the Nürburgring. Using the new Manthey Kit, the Taycan Turbo GT completed the lap in under 6 minutes and 56 seconds, beating the previous record held by Xiaomi. The record-breaking run was supported by significant aerodynamic upgrades, including a carbon-fibre wing and diffuser, and a specialized battery discharge mode that provides 730 kW of power for short bursts. This highlights the ongoing competition between luxury automakers and tech-driven EV manufacturers in performance engineering.
