Pioneer Point Partners has acquired a majority stake in Rendesco, a UK developer of low-carbon heat networks. The investment of up to £100 million is intended to support the delivery of ground source heat pump solutions for residential developments. This funding aims to facilitate up to £500 million in capital expenditure for heat network infrastructure. The move aligns with the UK's Future Homes Standard, which increases regulatory pressure on housebuilders to adopt sustainable heating alternatives.
