A new partnership between Pacific International Lines, PSA International, and DNV introduces a land-sea service in Singapore to help cargo owners track and reduce Scope 3 emissions. The initiative allows shippers to verify emissions reductions by utilizing lower-carbon fuels across port, shipping, and logistics operations. As part of the effort, PIL is expanding its fleet of LNG dual-fuel container vessels to lower the carbon intensity of its global operations. Trials for the new verification service are set to begin in May, providing a transparent pathway for supply chain decarbonization.
