Trans Peshawar is expanding its transit network by launching new feeder routes on Ring Road, Dilzak Road, and Khyber Road. To support this growth and lower citywide carbon emissions, the board approved the addition of 52 electric buses and 50 hybrid vehicles to the fleet. This shift toward low-carbon transport aims to reduce passenger wait times and provide a more sustainable alternative to private vehicles. The expansion comes as the city seeks to balance rising commuter demand with environmental goals.
