The storage capacity is listed as 21,000 to 35,000 cubic meters. For a 220k ton annual output, that is a pretty tight buffer. I wonder what the planned turnaround time is for those barges before they hit a bottleneck.

Barges and pipelines are the way to go, but truck loading as a backup is usually a nightmare for cost and emissions. Hope they actually stick to the water and pipe routes.

The real question is the carbon accounting for these biogenic streams. If they want to hit low carbon targets, the feedstock sourcing needs to be transparent. An MoU on storage is fine, but the regulatory certification of the methanol is what will drive the price.
