PeroCycle is conducting a feasibility study with Jindal Steel at the Port of Duqm to integrate patented carbon recycling technology into steel manufacturing. The process captures industrial off-gases and converts them back into operational feedstock, reducing the need for fossil fuel-based reducing agents like coal and natural gas. This technology is designed to work with both new and existing plants, allowing steel producers to decarbonize without replacing entire facilities. The study focuses on technical integration with gas separation systems and calculating the actual reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
