Four farms in Dhulikhel, Nepal, are implementing permaculture and agroforestry to move away from chemical fertilizers and synthetic materials. These projects combine sustainable food production with education and eco-tourism to make organic farming economically viable for local youth. One project, Green Intelligence, is integrating carbon trading into its model. By using QR codes to track tree growth and carbon absorption, the initiative aims to provide direct financial rewards to farmers who reduce their carbon footprint through reforestation and organic practices.
