PepsiCo is tackling agricultural emissions by integrating low-carbon ammonia and green hydrogen fertilizers into its supply chain. Through a book and claim system with TalusAg and a direct supply deal with Fertiberia, the company aims to reduce its Scope 3 emissions and scale regenerative farming practices. These initiatives target thousands of acres across Europe, Africa, and Asia. By using green hydrogen instead of natural gas, the partnership with Fertiberia can reduce fertilizer emissions by up to 63 percent, helping PepsiCo move toward its 2030 sustainability targets.
