A family-owned dairy farm in Chester County, Pennsylvania, is developing an anaerobic digester and combined heat and power system. Supported by a $4 million RISE PA grant, the project will process cow manure and food waste to generate 1MW of renewable base load electricity for the local grid. The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75% and is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2027.
