A collaborative project in Eryri has restored 65 hectares of degraded peatland to improve carbon sequestration and water management. The initiative, supported by the Welsh Government, focuses on rewetting landscapes to prevent carbon release and restore natural habitats. Early results show the return of rare bird species, including Curlew and Golden Plover, indicating a recovery of the upland ecosystem.
