Pearcroft Homes, a UK developer that promoted itself as the country's leading net zero housing company, has entered liquidation. The firm was founded in 2022 and claimed its luxury homes achieved average carbon emissions of -0.5 tonnes. But a winding up petition from plumbing supplier Wolseley UK was filed in April 2023, and a High Court order to close the business followed in October 2023. Liquidators from UHY Hacker Young were appointed in September 2024.
