163 panels is a decent start for a local site, but I wonder about the peak load. Filtration pumps are energy intensive. Does this cover a significant percentage of their daily kWh or is it just a small offset?
The real win here is the Grade II listing. Getting planning permission for solar on historic roofs is usually a nightmare. If they found a way to do it sympathetically, it sets a useful precedent for other old public buildings.
