Pandora Adds Carbon Footprint Tracking to Lab-Grown Diamonds
fashionunited.inPandora is introducing carbon footprint disclosures for its lab-grown diamond collection, treating emissions data as a fifth metric alongside cut, color, clarity, and carat. The company claims these diamonds generate 90 percent less CO2e than mined alternatives. The production process utilizes 100 percent renewable electricity for growing, cutting, and polishing the stones. The jewelry is also set in recycled silver and gold to further reduce the environmental impact of the collection.
