Pan-United, a Singapore concrete producer, is developing low-carbon concrete technologies and digital supply management. For the foundation of The Skywaters building, it delivered concrete continuously for 35 hours, using its proprietary PanU Super Hi-Strength mix to reduce material volume and carbon footprint. The company also uses carbon capture and utilization in its PanU CMC+ concrete, mineralizing CO2 inside the material to cut cement use and boost strength. This technology has been applied at Tuas Port, Cross Island Line, Changi Airport Terminal 5, and The Skywaters. The company also offers PanU Hi-Albedo concrete for roads and paths to reduce surface temperatures and mitigate urban heat islands. Since 2022, Pan-United has provided on-demand environmental product declarations with independently verified data. Its AiR Digital platform manages over 4,000 daily deliveries, addressing the tight 2-hour placement window for concrete. With cement production responsible for 7-8% of global CO2 emissions, these efforts are significant for the construction sector.
