The event, organized by China's Supreme People's Court, brought together judges from multiple countries to share best practices on climate litigation and the judiciary's role in sustainable development. Justice Malik delivered a keynote on Pakistan's climate jurisprudence, covering rights-based approaches, institutional accountability, and emerging trends in climate adjudication. She also addressed the need for gender-sensitive perspectives in climate responses and judicial decisions. The workshop included bilateral meetings with Chinese judges to compare approaches to climate litigation and environmental governance.
