Orion S.A. has started producing three circular carbon black grades at its ISCC PLUS certified plant in Qingdao, China. The ECORAX Circular 200, 210, and 215 grades are made using tire pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tires. This expands Orion's sustainable product line and gives tire manufacturers drop-in replacements for conventional grades like N326 and N330 without changing formulations. The company invested in dedicated storage and handling systems to keep recycled and conventional feedstocks separate during production. Orion already scaled similar circular production at its Jaslo, Poland facility in 2025. The move supports growing demand for low-carbon materials in the rubber and tire industries and strengthens the company's global circular economy strategy.
