Origin Energy is partnering with the Uniting Church to install 42 electric vehicle chargers across 21 aged care facilities in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The project provides charging access for staff and residents, supporting a broader transition to a fully electric fleet. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to reach carbon neutrality by 2040. Transport currently accounts for about 7.5 percent of the organization's carbon emissions, making fleet electrification a key lever in reducing their overall environmental footprint.
