Organic Recycling Systems has started a pilot study using a 10 kg/h downdraft gasification system. The project focuses on processing hard agricultural residues, specifically coconut and cashew shells, to optimize the production of charcoal and fixed carbon. If the trials at the Mahape facility prove successful, the company intends to commercialize the technology. This process converts biomass waste into syngas and biochar, providing a potential low carbon alternative for energy and soil amendment.
