One Earth Energy has cut its proposed carbon capture project in eastern McLean County from three injection wells to one. The ethanol producer also reduced the planned pipeline diameter from 16 inches to 8 inches and said the route would not cross municipal boundaries or require eminent domain. The company says the project is clear of the Mahomet Aquifer and could generate $37 million in tax revenue over its life.
