A new training programme in Sohar, Oman, is preparing young professionals for the global energy transition. Organized by the Youth Centre and Sohar Port and Freezone, the initiative focuses on science and engineering graduates and entrepreneurs. The curriculum covers critical decarbonization technologies, including green hydrogen, carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and energy storage. The programme aims to build local technical expertise to support Oman's Vision 2040 and industrial diversification.
